Bath's Aug. 22 feature will be transferred to Brighton, due to the extended spell of dry weather, the British Horseracing Authority announced on Monday. Due to a lack of an appropriate start for the 14-furlong Bath Stayers Series at Brighton, that race will instead be carded over 18 furlongs at Chepstow on Aug. 23.
The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) has today announced that due to the continuing spell of dry weather, Bath's 8 and 18 August fixtures have been transferred as follows:
Wednesday 8 August (afternoon) - Chepstow
Saturday 18 August (evening) - Chepstow
Entry and declaration stages for both fixtures will be as normal with entries closing for Chepstow on 8 August tomorrow, Thursday 2 August at 12 noon.
